ARTIST BIO

I'm a country girl from Gering, Nebraska. I graduated in 2016 from Concordia University of Nebraska with a BA in English and a minor in Art. I’ve been a journalism teacher, janitor, data technician and more. I am a published poet appearing in the National Creativity Series of 2009 and Mango The Magazine Edition III in 2017.

I am also a winner of the 2020 Historic Posters Reimagined Project which can be found at the Nebraska History Museum in Lincoln. I currently work as the Program Manager at the West Nebraska Arts Center in Scottsbluff, Ne.

I am a writer, singer and visual artist. I love an open approach to life and I tend to enjoy people who do the same! I believe the mind is our most powerful tool in this life and I love being able to help shape it toward a more peaceful, positive human being. I also find that in order to be able to achieve that state of mind, hard facts and parts of life have to be faced.

I would like people to see my art as a catalyst to become magnificent.

Stephanie is the Senior Program Manager at the West Nebraska Arts Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
